MMI New Build Head wins her conveyancing race

MMI New Build supremo Tracy McAlpine usually more accustomed to running McVey and Murricane's award-winning New Build Conveyancing team has spent the last few months on a very personal mission.

Following the death of her brother, Tracy was determined to "give something back" to the Oban community from where she originally hailed and where her family still stays.

Tracy was shocked to learn that children in Oban with kidney complaints had to make a 160 mile round trip every time they required treatment because of the lack of availability of the necessary equipment in Oban. Tracy felt that running a half marathon would both be cathartic in dealing with the loss of her brother and at the same time raise both money and profile for a very worthwhile cause.

McVey and Murricane were happy to support Tracy through internal events, direct sponsorship and popularising Tracy's efforts via the company email footer. Many clients and contacts were extremely generous in supporting Tracy.

Last week Tracy completed her half marathon and just as importantly was able to send over £3000 to Kidney Kids Scotland. If you want to find out more about this valuable charity go to
